Spring is definitely in the air. The bulbs are out, the days are sunnier - all we're waiting for is a good old North Eastern frost to kill it all off!

The JMS know when it's that time of the year because we're leaving for local gigs in the daylight, rather than the darkness. It's also a time for a little spring cleaning so we're preparing some video's, music and photo's to put online very soon. You'll be able to download some of your favourite tracks from the live show as well as some new tracks which haven't yet been performed on the road.

Keep checking back regularly and signing the guestbook in the forum section. We really appreciate all your support on-line and 'on-gigs'!

Well, the turkey is finally eaten, the presents have all been unwrapped, admired and put away and life is returning to normal.....so Happy New Year to all followers of the Janie Mackenzie Show! We hope that 2007 will bring you every success and happiness.

We start the new year looking forward to seeing you all and being on our travels once again. As before, please get in touch if you want to know where we'll be playing (Dixon Agency or email us).

Over the next couple of weeks we should have the Biogs section up and running and some new pics going into the Gallery section of the site so keep checking back.

As always, we'd love to hear from you via our comments section on the Forum page. If we get enough people using the comments section regularly we plan to put a full forum board in place so get posting!

Ladies and Gentlemen, please give a warm welcome to a new member of the Janie Mackenzie Show!

Those of you eagle eyed folks who have seen the JMS over the past couple of months will have noticed that our original drummer, George, has moved on to pastures new and is currently enjoying some well earned time out.

Our new full time pots and pans basher is Malcolm Bainbridge - our very own Ozzy Osbourne - and is fitting in a treat, making us cry with laughter. Mal has just returned from a holiday in the USA and will be getting to know you all over the forthcoming weeks and months.

That's as long as he can put up with our (well, Janie's) filthy habits......!

A fantastic expeience was had by all as the Janie Mackenzie Show rocked the very walls of "Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizadry" over the weekend.....!

Those of you who are keen Harry Potter fans will know that Alnwick Castle was the set for some of the Harry Potter movies and has now also been an unusual setting for a Janie Mackenzie Show performance.

It was also the perfect setting for an airing of the new look Janie Mackenzie Show which has been 6 months in the making. We hope you like it!

Having had a well earned break from the road, JMS are currently in rehearsals foran exciting new set of material.

Last night was an emotional night for everyone involved with JMS as the band said a sad goodbye to Karl Hall, our keyboard player and "Mr Fixit" since hitting the road 18 months ago.

Karl is leaving to pursue other opportunities including his home improvements business. If you'd like to use Karl's services, which come highly recommended, please feel free to email us by clicking here.
